About FindRFP

FindRFP is an American bid-notification service operating since 1995. It aggregates solicitations from federal, state, city, county and municipal buyers, plus universities, school districts, hospitals, airports, correctional facilities, water districts, utilities and police and fire departments, covering the 50 US states, Washington DC, Guam, Puerto Rico and nine Canadian provinces. Subscribers get a searchable database and daily email notifications of pre-solicitation notices, active solicitations and awards. Plans are sold by territory: the Regional plan at 19.95 dollars a month covers up to four states, the National plan at 29.95 dollars covers North America with a customisable list of states and provinces. Annual plans give twelve months for the price of ten, and group plans start at five accounts.

Why companies move from FindRFP to Scoutee

Reason 1: four states, or the map you actually work on

FindRFP's Regional plan covers up to four states; the National plan covers North America and stops there. A company choosing states is guessing a year ahead, and one that starts exporting to Europe has no plan to upgrade to. Scoutee searches more than 100 official sources in more than 30 countries of Europe and North America in every plan, SAM.gov, CanadaBuys, SEAO and the European national portals under the EU thresholds together, deduplicated into one row per tender. There is no territory to pick, and none to pay extra for.

Reason 2: an analysis, not only a notification

FindRFP notifies: a new solicitation matches, here is the link. The specification behind it, often a hundred pages, is the supplier's problem. A Scoutee analysis retrieves the documents from the buyer's platform and extracts the deadlines, the budget, the requirements and the criteria that would exclude the company, on one page shared with the whole workspace. The free plan runs two a month, Pro a hundred, Team without limit. Ten extra analyses cost 10 euros, and reading one a colleague ran is free.

Reason 3: a free plan that never expires, and a memory between bids

FindRFP offers a trial, then a subscription. Scoutee's free plan does not end: the whole index, saved searches, one daily alert and two analyses a month, without a card. Pro at 49 euros a month adds unlimited saved searches with their alerts, 100 analyses, buyer profiles and a company memory that keeps the references, certifications and past bids the next answer starts from. Team at 149 euros gives ten users and the award history: who won, and when published, at what price.

Reason 4: the keywords translated, and the API in the plan

A US or Canadian company that looks at European contracts meets notices written in German, Dutch or Polish. Scoutee proposes keywords from the company profile and translates them into 24 languages, so one saved search reaches them; a Quebec notice in French is found the same way. Pro also includes the API and an MCP server, so a CRM or an assistant queries the same index, and a public MCP server answers without any account.

Where FindRFP is strong

  • Thirty years of US bid data, from federal agencies down to water districts and fire departments.
  • The lowest published entry price in this comparison: 19.95 dollars a month for up to four states.
  • Pre-solicitation notices and awards next to active solicitations, useful for planning a pipeline.
  • A coverage list the subscriber customises state by state and province by province, including Guam and Puerto Rico.

FAQ

Does FindRFP cover tenders outside the United States?

Partly: nine Canadian provinces, Guam and Puerto Rico alongside the 50 states and Washington DC, with the National plan covering North America. European notices are not in its scope. Scoutee covers the United States and Canada as well, and more than 30 countries in total, Europe included.

How much does FindRFP cost?

The Regional plan is 19.95 dollars a month, or 199.50 a year, for up to four states; the National plan is 29.95 dollars a month, or 299.50 a year, for North America. Both are cheaper than Scoutee's Pro plan at 49 euros a month, which covers more than 30 countries and includes 100 tender analyses. Prices read on 14 September 2026.

Can I try Scoutee before paying?

Yes. The free plan never expires: search every source, save searches, receive one daily alert and run two tender analyses a month. Pro and Team are monthly and cancellable at any time.

Does Scoutee send daily bid notifications like FindRFP?

Yes. Each saved search can send a daily email alert when new notices match, one alert on the free plan and one per saved search on Pro. The alerts run on the full index: no state, province or country has to be selected first.

Is Scoutee's coverage really included in every plan?

Yes. Free, Pro and Team search the same index, more than 100 official sources in more than 30 countries of Europe and North America, collected every night and deduplicated. The plans differ by alerts, analyses, users and the award history, never by territory.
