About TenderWolf

TenderWolf is a Belgian tender-monitoring service based in Ghent. It collects public procurement notices from Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France and the European TED journal, and adds an AI layer on top of them. Its customers are mostly Belgian and Dutch companies answering public contracts in construction, ICT and services. The product runs on credits. The free plan opens with 3,000 starter credits and renews 750 a month; Standard is 79 euros a month for one country, Professional 149 euros a month for all of Europe, Enterprise on quote. An AI Quickscan of a specification costs 25 credits, a competitor screening 50, a company page 100. Downloading the specification itself is free on every plan.

Why companies move from TenderWolf to Scoutee

Reason 1: the second country is not an upgrade

TenderWolf prices geography directly: 79 euros a month buys one country, and the whole of Europe is the 149-euro Professional plan. A Belgian company that starts answering in the Netherlands, or a Dutch one that follows a buyer into Germany, changes plan to do it. Scoutee indexes more than 100 official sources in more than 30 countries of Europe and North America, collected every night and deduplicated into one notice per tender. Every plan searches all of them, including the free one. There is no country option to add.

Reason 2: analyses you can count, not credits you spend

On TenderWolf each AI action draws on the same monthly balance: 25 credits for a Quickscan, 50 for a screening, 100 for a company page. Three specifications read and two competitors checked cost more than half of a free month. Scoutee counts analyses instead: two a month on the free plan, 100 on Pro at 49 euros a month, no limit on Team at 149 euros. Extra analyses are 10 for 10 euros. Reading an analysis a colleague already ran costs nothing at all.

Reason 3: keywords in the languages of the notices

TenderWolf does not state that it translates search terms. A Dutch-language search finds Dutch-language notices, which is enough inside Belgium and the Netherlands and stops at the border. Scoutee builds keywords from the company profile and translates them into the 24 languages of its sources. The same saved search then reaches the German, Polish or Spanish notice without anyone writing the term in those languages. The company memory keeps references, certifications and past bids so the next answer starts from them.

Reason 4: the API and the MCP server come with Pro

TenderWolf's pricing page states no API, and no MCP server. Scoutee includes both from the Pro plan at 49 euros a month: the API for pushing notices into a CRM, the MCP server for querying the index from an AI assistant. A public MCP server is also open without an account, so a team can test the search before it signs up. Nothing here sits behind an enterprise quote.

Where TenderWolf is strong

  • The specification is downloadable on every plan, the free one included, which few competitors allow.
  • A real free tier, 750 credits a month, enough to read several specifications without paying.
  • Competitor screening per tender and company pages, useful for reading a Belgian market.
  • A Ghent team close to Belgian, Dutch and Luxembourg buyers and their publication habits.

FAQ

Does TenderWolf cover tenders outside Belgium and the Netherlands?

Yes, but as a paid step. The 79-euro plan covers one country; the whole of Europe is the 149-euro Professional plan. TED is included either way. Scoutee covers more than 30 countries in Europe and North America in every plan, with no per-country option.

How much does TenderWolf cost?

TenderWolf publishes its prices: a free plan with 750 credits a month, Standard at 79 euros a month or 790 a year, Professional at 149 euros a month or 1,490 a year, Enterprise on quote. AI actions are then metered in credits. Scoutee's Pro plan is 49 euros a month with 100 analyses included.

Can I try Scoutee before paying?

Yes. The free plan never expires: search every source, save searches, receive one daily alert and run two tender analyses a month. Pro and Team are monthly and cancellable at any time.

Does Scoutee summarise the specification like an AI Quickscan?

Yes. A Scoutee analysis retrieves the documents from the buyer's platform and extracts the deadlines, the budget, the requirements and the exclusion criteria. The result is a page shared with the whole workspace, and it does not draw on a credit balance.

Is Scoutee's coverage really included in every plan?

Yes. Free, Pro and Team search the same index: more than 100 official sources in more than 30 countries, collected every night and deduplicated. The plans differ by alerts, analyses, users and award history, never by geography.
