About GovTribe
GovTribe is an American federal market intelligence platform. It tracks United States federal opportunities, awards, contract vehicles and agency points of contact, and adds predictive analytics, an AI chat, an AI FastTrack summariser and MCP tools for assistants. Plans are published and annual: Launch at $1,500 a year for one user, ten tracked pursuits and public contacts; Launch Plus at $1,900, which adds state and local data; Growth at $5,000 for five users with Beacon contacts, Zapier and Unanet integrations; Growth Plus at $6,000; Scale on quote, with exports up to 25,000 records. The AI runs on credits at $0.09 each, bought as needed, with 2,000 given during the trial. There is no free plan.
Why companies move from GovTribe to Scoutee
Reason 1: state and local is not an upgrade
GovTribe is built for the federal market; everything outside it is the Plus line. Launch covers federal only, and reaching state and local buyers means Launch Plus at $1,900 instead of $1,500, or Growth Plus at $6,000 instead of $5,000. Canada and Europe are not sold at any tier. Scoutee makes no such distinction: more than 100 official sources in more than 30 countries of Europe and North America, from national bodies down to municipalities, in one index that every plan searches, the free one included.
Reason 2: analyses in the plan, not credits at $0.09
GovTribe meters its AI: FastTrack summaries, chat and automations spend credits at $0.09 each, bought as they run out, so the cost of reading a solicitation depends on how many the team opens. Scoutee counts analyses instead, and publishes the count: two a month on the free plan, a hundred on Pro at 49 euros a month, unlimited on Team. Extra analyses are ten for ten euros. Reading an analysis a colleague already ran costs nothing at all.
Reason 3: a free plan and monthly billing
GovTribe's entry is a trial with 2,000 AI credits, then an annual contract sized by seat band: one user at Launch, five at Growth. Scoutee's free plan never expires, searches the whole index, saves searches, sends one daily alert and runs two analyses a month. Pro and Team are billed monthly and cancelled at any time, and Team's 149 euros a month include ten users, so a team that grows mid-year changes nothing in a contract.
Reason 4: the notices are not all in English
GovTribe's sources publish in English, which is enough for a federal pipeline and not enough for a company selling in Europe. Scoutee proposes keywords from the company profile and translates them into the 24 languages of its sources, so one saved search returns German, Dutch and Spanish notices next to American ones. The company memory keeps the references and certifications reused from bid to bid, and the Team plan carries the award notices.
Where GovTribe is strong
- Federal opportunities, awards and contract vehicles followed in depth, with predictive analytics on top.
- Agency points of contact on every plan and Beacon contact data from Growth upward.
- Zapier and Unanet integrations that put federal pipeline data into the tools a capture team already uses.
- MCP tools and an AI chat built specifically for federal research.
FAQ
Does GovTribe cover tenders outside the United States federal market?
State and local data exists, but on the Plus plans: $1,900 instead of $1,500 at Launch, $6,000 instead of $5,000 at Growth. Canada and Europe are not covered at any tier. Scoutee indexes more than 100 official sources in more than 30 countries of Europe and North America, with no upgrade attached to geography.
How much does GovTribe cost?
Prices are published and annual: Launch $1,500 a year for one user, Launch Plus $1,900 with state and local, Growth $5,000 for five users, Growth Plus $6,000, Scale on quote. AI credits cost $0.09 each on top. Scoutee is 49 euros a month for Pro and 149 euros a month for Team, billed monthly.
Can I try Scoutee before paying?
Yes, and the free plan has no end date and no credit balance. It searches every source in every country, saves searches, sends one daily alert and runs two tender analyses a month. Pro and Team are monthly and cancellable. A public MCP server is free too, without an account.
Does Scoutee do federal predictive analytics like GovTribe?
No. Scoutee has no predictive scoring, no contract vehicle tracking and no named contact database for federal agencies. It starts from the published notice, reads its documents and keeps the award history on Team. For federal pipeline work in the United States, GovTribe does things Scoutee does not.
Is Scoutee's coverage really included in every plan?
Yes. Free, Pro and Team search the same index: more than 100 official sources in more than 30 countries, collected every night and deduplicated into one notice per tender. The plans differ by alerts, analyses, users and award history. State, province and country are never a paid upgrade.
