Terms of service

The terms of service of Scoutee, published by AUTEUR: what the service does, plans and prices, billing, API keys, acceptable use, liability and applicable law.

Aktualisiert am 9. September 2026

English

These terms govern your use of Scoutee. By creating an account, you accept them. They take effect on 9 September 2026 and replace any earlier version.

1. Who we are

Scoutee is published by AUTEUR, a French SASU with a share capital of 500 €, registered in Paris under number 100 954 734, with its registered office at 200 rue de la Croix Nivert, 75015 Paris, France. AUTEUR is the publisher; the person or company holding an account is the customer. Write to [email protected] with any question about these terms, your subscription or your data.

2. What Scoutee does

Scoutee collects public tender notices from official journals and buyer platforms, indexes them, and lets you search them, save searches, receive email alerts, store documents about your company and ask for an analysis of a tender file. It is delivered online, as a subscription. Features change as the product evolves; a change that removes something you pay for is announced in advance under section 12.

3. Accounts and workspaces

You need an account, and you are responsible for the details you give, for keeping your password safe and for everything done from your account. Your work lives in a workspace: it has one owner, who decides who joins and leaves, and its plan, quotas and invoices apply to the workspace as a whole rather than to each member.

4. Plans and prices

The Free plan gives search, saved searches and alerts within the limits shown on the pricing page. Pro costs 49 € per month or 490 € per year, Team 149 € per month or 1490 € per year. Extra seats cost 9.99 € per month each and a pack of ten tender analyses costs 10 €. Prices are per workspace and stated excluding VAT, added at the rate applicable to your country and status. A price change applies to your workspace at the start of the next billing period, after the notice described in section 12.

5. Billing and cancellation

Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or yearly depending on the period you choose, and renew automatically for the same period. Payment is handled by our payment provider; we never see your card number. Analysis packs are billed once, when you buy them.

You can cancel at any time from the billing portal in your workspace settings. Cancelling stops the renewal: your plan and its quotas stay active until the end of the period already paid for, then the workspace returns to the Free plan. We refund neither the period in progress nor unused analyses. If a payment fails, we may suspend the paid features until it succeeds.

6. API keys and MCP access

The REST API and the MCP server are available on paid plans. Keys are created from the workspace and act on its behalf, within the quotas of its plan; those quotas are published in the API documentation and may be adjusted to keep the service stable for everyone.

A key is a secret: keep it out of public repositories, client-side code and shared documents. Everything done with a key counts as done by the workspace, which is responsible for it and for the usage it bills. If a key leaks, revoke it from the workspace settings and create a new one.

7. The tender data

Scoutee aggregates notices published by public buyers and official sources, and provides them as is. We work to collect every notice quickly and accurately, but we do not guarantee that the catalogue is complete, that a notice is current, or that a deadline shown in Scoutee is the one that counts: sources publish at their own pace, amend their notices and sometimes withdraw them. Before you commit to a tender, check the buyer's own platform. Its publication is the reference, and the deadlines, documents and rules it carries prevail over anything shown in Scoutee.

8. Your documents and your company memory

The documents you upload to your company memory, and everything you write in the service, remain yours. You grant us only the permission we need to run the service: to store these files, index them and send their content to the processing steps that produce your analyses. We do not use your documents to train models and we do not share them with other customers. Deleting a document or your account removes it, as set out in the privacy policy.

9. AI outputs

Analyses, summaries, scores and drafts produced by Scoutee are assistance, not advice and not a decision. They can be incomplete or wrong. You remain responsible for reading the tender file, for the content of your bid, and for meeting the buyer's requirements and deadlines.

10. Acceptable use

You may use Scoutee for your own tender activity and for that of the clients you work for. You may not scrape, crawl or bulk extract the service outside the documented API and its quotas, resell or redistribute our data as a database or a feed, share your keys or account outside your workspace, try to bypass quotas or reach another workspace, or use the service to break the law or to harm it and its users.

11. Suspension, termination and liability

You may stop using Scoutee at any time and delete your account from your profile. We may suspend or close an account that breaches section 10, that does not pay or that puts the service at risk; except for a serious or repeated breach, we warn you first and leave you a chance to fix the problem. No refund is due when a paid workspace is closed for a breach.

We provide the service with reasonable care but we do not promise uninterrupted or error free operation. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the fees paid for the workspace in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, a tender you did not see or a bid that was not selected. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

12. Changes to these terms

These terms change as the service evolves. Any material change is sent by email to account holders at least 30 days before it applies. If you do not accept the new terms, cancel before they take effect; using the service after that date means you accept them.

13. Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by French law. If we cannot settle a dispute between us, it goes before the competent courts of Paris, France. A consumer keeps the rights given by the law of their country of residence and may use a consumer mediation service.
