About DTAD

DTAD is a Berlin tender-monitoring service in business since 2000. Its platform, DTAD 360, gathers notices from more than 12,000 sources: German public tenders, national notices from the DACH region and the EU-wide notices, together with construction projects, early project information, expiring framework contracts, award history and the buyer contacts its editorial team researches. Companies use it for a daily feed of matching notices, a chat assistant called Frank that reads the documents, shared lists for the team and an export into their CRM. Its customers are German contractors, suppliers and service firms, from small trades to large sales organisations. DTAD publishes no price: a demonstration comes first, then a quote on a twelve-month contract that renews unless cancelled three months ahead.

Why companies move from DTAD to Scoutee

Reason 1: a map that stops at the DACH region

DTAD counts more than 12,000 sources, and they are German, Austrian, Swiss and the EU-wide notices. A supplier that sells into the Netherlands, Poland, the Nordics or Canada is outside that map, and the quote decides what is inside it. Scoutee indexes more than 100 official sources in more than 30 countries of Europe and North America, collected every night and deduplicated into one row per tender. Every plan searches all of them, the free one included. No territory is an option, and no scope is negotiated before signing.

Reason 2: a price you can read before the demonstration

DTAD does not publish a price. The site offers a fourteen-day trial and a meeting; the quote arrives afterwards, on a twelve-month contract that renews by itself unless you cancel three months before the term. A competitor's comparison post from April 2026 puts the base around 1,800 euros a year, which DTAD neither confirms nor denies. Scoutee publishes three numbers: a free plan, Pro at 49 euros a month and Team at 149 euros a month. Billing is monthly and cancellable at any time; the yearly option costs ten months.

Reason 3: the analysis is counted, and so is its price

DTAD includes Frank, a chat assistant that reads tender documents, inside packages whose price is not public, so nobody knows what one reading costs. On Scoutee the analysis is a unit you can count: two a month on the free plan, 100 on Pro, unlimited on Team, and ten extra analyses for ten euros. Each one fetches the documents from the buyer's platform and extracts the deadlines, the budget, the requirements and the exclusion criteria. Reading an analysis a colleague already ran costs nothing.

Reason 4: keywords in 24 languages, API and MCP from Pro

DTAD searches German notices in German. Scoutee proposes keywords from the company profile and translates them into the 24 languages of its sources, so one search reaches Dutch, Polish and Danish notices without writing those words. The API and the MCP server belong to Pro at 49 euros a month, where DTAD offers a CRM export whose price is not published. A public MCP server is open without an account. The company memory keeps the references and certifications the next bid starts from.

Where DTAD is strong

  • Twenty-five years of German procurement data, with award history and the supplier relationships behind it.
  • Buyer contacts researched by an editorial team, with a name and a line into the awarding authority.
  • Construction projects followed from the early planning phase, before any notice is published.
  • Expiring framework contracts flagged in advance, a sales signal that no published notice carries.

FAQ

Does DTAD cover tenders outside Germany?

In part. DTAD carries national notices from the DACH region and the EU-wide notices. The portals of the Netherlands, Poland, Spain or North America, and the below-threshold notices published only there, are outside its map. Scoutee collects more than 100 official sources in more than 30 countries of Europe and North America, every night.

How much does DTAD cost?

DTAD publishes no price. A demonstration comes first, then a quote for a twelve-month contract that renews unless cancelled three months ahead; a fourteen-day trial is offered. A competitor's comparison post from April 2026 cites about 1,800 euros a year for the base, unverified. Scoutee's Pro plan is 49 euros a month, published, monthly and cancellable.

Can I try Scoutee before paying?

Yes. The free plan never expires: it searches every source, saves searches, sends one daily alert and runs two tender analyses a month. Pro and Team are monthly and can be cancelled at any time. The public MCP server answers without an account at all.

Does Scoutee read the tender documents like Frank?

Yes. A Scoutee analysis fetches the documents from the buyer's platform, reads them and returns the deadlines, budget, requirements and exclusion criteria on one page the whole workspace sees. Free runs two a month, Pro 100, Team without a limit; ten more cost ten euros. Reading an analysis already run is free.

Is Scoutee's coverage really included in every plan?

Yes. Free, Pro and Team search the same index: more than 100 official sources in more than 30 countries, collected every night and deduplicated. The plans differ by alerts, analyses, users and the award history on Team, never by country or region. Nothing is sold per territory.
