Description

SaskPower is seeking new construction services for approximately 83km 138kV transmission line from Yorton to Tantallon.  This new rebuild line will consist of direct embed 138kV single circuit self-weathering H-frame structures with single Drake conductor and 2X 5/16 shield wire.  The new line will begin from Yorton Switching Station A-Frame and end at the existing Tantallon switching station A-Frame. The present Y2T line is a 72kV line that has three 72kV tap lines, namely Y2T-MFF, Y2T-CHB, Y2T-KMK connected to it, that must be always kept live during the construction phase. The project will be constructed on the existing 72kV Y2T right of way and modifications and upgrades at the tap locations shall be required.
