Snow Clearing/Removal and Ice Control Services

The Renfrew Victoria Hospital is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced Proponents to obtain the Services of Snow Clearing/Removal and Ice Control for all its Service Areas for the two-year period of November 1, 2026, through to October 31, 2028, with an option to extend for one (1) additional one year period.

The selected Proponent will enter into a contractual agreement or

“Contract”

and will provide Snow Clearing/Removal and Ice Control Services which will include, but not be limited to:

Supply labour, equipment and supplies;

Plowing of snow and ice;

Removal of snow and ice, including all drifted and blown snow from the Service Areas;

Applications of approved de-icing materials;

Preventive measures to preclude buildup of snow and ice accumulations, especially on walkways, sidewalks, main entrances, and loading docks.

The service is to be provided in a safe, timely, efficient, and environmentally safe manner to ensure that access to the sites and buildings is safe and unimpeded by snow and ice for staff, physicians, patients, and visitors.
