Description
The Medical Council of Canada ("MCC") is seeking proposals from qualified Proponents for modern, cloud-based digital solution(s) to support MCC's digital transformation. The successful Proponent(s) will provide the software, implementation services, configuration, integration, data migration, testing, training, deployment, and ongoing support required to deliver a secure, scalable, and user-centric platform. The central objective of this initiative is to replace MCC's existing PhysiciansApply.ca (PA) platform. The new solution or solutions will modernize the end-to-end physician application lifecycle: candidate registration, credential and document management, application processing, workflow and case management, payments, communications, reporting, and self-service for candidates / physicians, partner organizations and MCC staff. MCC expects the solution(s) to combine configurable business processes, contemporary user experience design, robust security controls, and open integration capabilities that can accommodate future business and technology needs. The successful Proponent(s) will integrate the solution(s) with MCC's existing enterprise systems and selected third-party services, including identity management, payment processing, communications, document management, reporting, and other business applications. The proposed architecture must rely on standards-based APIs and established integration patterns that support interoperability, scalability, security, and long-term maintainability while minimizing vendor lock-in. MCC intends to establish long-term strategic relationship(s) with the successful Proponent(s) to support both implementation and the ongoing evolution of the solution(s). Proponents are encouraged to propose leading practices, innovative approaches, and relevant industry experience that will help MCC deliver a secure, highly configurable platform that improves the experience of candidates / physicians, and MCC staff while advancing MCC's business objectives.
