Description

Automatic Door Repair Services HHS0840 Closing Date: 10/05/2026 03:00:00 PM ET Detail: This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation (“HHSC”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Automatic Door Repair Services, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). HHSC is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced proponents to provide automatic door repairs, inspection, and emergency response services across all of its facilities on an if, when, and required basis. Automatic doors play a critical role in ensuring safe, reliable, and accessible access for patients, visitors, staff, and service providers. Given the operational importance of these systems, HHSC requires a service model that promotes reliability, responsiveness, business continuity, and sustained service excellence across all sites. To achieve these objectives, HHSC intends to award contracts to two (2) qualified proponents under a primary/secondary model. The successful proponent ranked first will be designated as the primary service provider and assigned between seventy percent (70%) to one hundred percent (100%) of the anticipated service volume, while the proponent ranked second will be designated as the secondary service provider and assigned between zero percent (0%) to thirty percent (30%) of the anticipated service volume. Work allocation percentages are estimates only and may be adjusted by HHSC based on operational requirements, vendor performance, capacity, responsiveness, geographic considerations, and service quality. The proponents shall be required to perform the following: Provide a rapid response to service interruptions and critical failures; Minimize downtime and operational disruption through effective service delivery; Maintain compliance with applicable codes, standards, manufacturer requirements, and accessibility regulations; Provide competitive pricing for parts, hardware, and doors; and Be available on a 24/7/365 basis for all emergency repair services. Proposals must be submitted through HHSC’s online Euna Procurement (formerly Bonfire) portal at: https://hhsc.bonfirehub.ca/opportunities/110876 Submissions by other methods will not be accepted.
